Project Lifecycle Our project implementation methodology is based on Prince 2 and has a minimum of a 4-stage project lifecycle, defined below:
Project Management The key components of our Project Management methodology are shown in the figure below and described in the following paragraphs. Project Planning, Project Control, and Project Monitoring are of primary importance, with Project Quality Assurance holding these activities together. Project Management provides the foundation and ensures delivery of a quality project.
Key Components of the Project Management Methodology
The Customer project manager and the Sigma Wireless project manager are critically important to the success of the project. Each must be totally committed to success and must ensure that others are equally committed.
For the project to succeed, a conscious effort must be made to manage even the smallest detail. Sigma Wireless brings skilled and experienced project management capabilities, along with proven project management tools and techniques, to manage these small details. We depend heavily upon an active project team, tools to assist in managing the project plan, and structured status reports. We also employ a comprehensive change management process to determine a project’s status and its direction.
