Sigma Wireless Joins Nokia Global Partner Program
Dublin, Ireland – December 9th, 2020 Sigma Wireless today announced it has signed a channel partner agreement with Nokia.
As a result of this relationship, Sigma Wireless will market, distribute and service Nokia’s enterprise portfolio covering Nokia’s routing, optics and mobile solutions, with a specific focus on mobile communications.
Tony Boyle, Chairman and Shareholder explained the significance of this relationship and the potential impact of this technology. “Sigma Wireless will celebrate 30 years of market leadership in the provision of advanced mobile communications solutions next year. During this period, we have continuously been at the forefront in delivering the most innovative approach to our customers who include public safety organizations, healthcare, transport, utilities and major enterprise. The next key development which will redefine the entire market in my view is the launch of private 5G networks to these market segments.
We are delighted to have formed a partnership with Nokia to be its first partner in Ireland and one of the few system integrator partners in Europe. We believe Nokia’s private wireless products and system solutions is the world-leading product range and will allow us to bring private 4G and 5G solutions to all our key customers. The key experiences which Sigma Wireless bring to these networks is our experience in designing and building the networks with the levels of coverage, resilience and security that is demanded by critical communications users.”
Phil Siveter, Head of Enterprise for UK &I said: “The Nokia Global Partner Program is a key part of our sales force – and strengthens our route to market for enterprise and public sector business opportunities. We are pleased to welcome Sigma Wireless to the program to help drive new growth and develop new customer relationships.”
